When Time Mattered Most, Ozactin Made the Difference
We attended the BFA on November 15–16 for Gabriella to compete in the youth division. We hauled in, warmed up, completed our run, and left immediately afterward. On Tuesday the 18th, reports of an EHV-1 outbreak began circulating, so we started monitoring temperatures as a precaution. Everything remained normal until Sunday morning.
That morning, our mare Georgia was lying in the pasture and would not get up. When we helped her stand, she was unsteady and stumbling. Her temperature was 103.8°F approximately 7–8 days after possible exposure. It was clear something serious was happening.
While we were waiting for authorization to seek further treatment, we administered an Ozactin treatment. Georgia showed immediate improvement, and her neurological symptoms resolved completely after that first application.
Since then, Georgia has continued to battle fever, lethargy, and coughing, but the neurological signs have not returned. We began regular Ozactin nebulizer treatments as part of her care plan and monitored her closely with frequent temperature checks and supportive care.
Although her test later returned negative, based on the exposure, timing, and clinical signs, we strongly believe she was affected. What stands out to us is how quickly Georgia responded to Ozactin when her symptoms were at their worst.
I will forever be a fan of Ozactin by Dr. Mark DePaolo and will always keep it in our refrigerator. When Georgia needed help the most, Ozactin made a visible difference. It gave her a chance to stabilize and recover when time mattered.

MetaRX and Ozactin
I want to share my personal experience with Meta RX and Ozactin for Humans, because it truly surprised me.
One morning I woke up after a long, painful night with arthritis flaring badly in my finger. Nothing had helped. Meta RX was sitting on my counter, and out of sheer desperation I took a “shot.” Within a short time, the pain began to dissipate. It honestly felt like I could feel it move up through my hand and out of my body. I was stunned.
I’ve also dealt for quite some time with a nagging discomfort in my side. After CAT scans, bloodwork, ultrasounds, and even acupuncture, the consensus has been inflammation in the fascia around my gallbladder area. It comes and goes, and when it shows up, it stresses me out because I don’t always know what triggers it. Since taking Meta RX, that discomfort is rarely—if ever—noticeable.
Recently, I ate something that caused the familiar discomfort to return. I felt uneasy and frustrated, so I ran down to my feed room, took a “shot” of Meta RX, and within about 20 minutes the discomfort was gone.
That moment sealed it for me. I am a believer and now consistently take the Meta RX and Ozactin combination for humans. I’m grateful to have something that supports my body and helps me feel more at ease in my day-to-day life.
I’m happy to answer any questions about my experience for both horses and humans!

Ozactin Gave My Horse His Breath — and His Life — Back
Hello Dr. Depaolo,
About 5 years ago your HHA and personal supplement saved my horse Dylan’s life. He had been diagnosed with heaves when he was 17 yrs old. All the pharmaceuticals prescribed just made him worse. Through his personal supplement from you and some diet changes he has been doing well.
He still can have trouble on hot, buggy, windy days. I nebulize him with colloidal silver which has helped. Vet prescribed albuterol last summer to nebulize him with-again made him worse!
I saw you video on Ozactin. I did some research and spoke with your staff. I purchased early December 2025 while it was on sale. The results have been fantastic. Dylan was having some trouble breathing before the first application as we had some hot windy weather. I did 3 nebulizing treatments in a row. He improved each day. I have done 1 treatment a week since. He seems to improve a bit with each treatment. He has hardly coughed in week. He always had a little “roaring” noise – that has been gone after the 3rd treatment. I did video him before each of his first 3 treatments. I will try to send those together. I might have to send them separately.
Thank you!

How DePaolo Equine Concepts Changed Everything for Carl
If you have a horse in chronic pain, unexplained lameness, behavioral changes, or that just isn’t himself anymore, this story is worth reading.
My 12-year-old Quarter Horse gelding, Carl, went from being a sweet, willing horse to one that was anxious, angry, teeth-grinding, and chronically lame. For years, we chased symptoms. He received diagnoses, injections, shockwave, rehab exercises, ulcer treatment, and constant bodywork. While some things helped temporarily, nothing truly changed the cycle he was stuck in.
Carl was still in pain. He was still unhappy. And he was still telling me something deeper was wrong.
The real shift happened when I was introduced to DePaolo Equine Concepts and their Horse Hair Analysis.
Through the hair analysis, we finally gained insight into what Carl’s body had been silently carrying for years. Instead of guessing, we were able to identify toxin overloads and imbalances that were likely contributing to his chronic pain, inflammation, ulcers, and inability to fully heal despite extensive veterinary care.
Based on the results, Carl was started on a personalized toxin-removal supplement protocol from DePaolo Equine Concepts in July. This was the first time his care felt truly targeted to his body.
The results were undeniable.
As his system began clearing what it could not previously process, his pain response changed. His demeanor softened. The teeth grinding stopped. The constant tension and anger faded. His body began responding positively to movement and training again instead of resisting it.
After seeing this progress, I reached out directly to Dr. Mark DePaolo for further guidance on Carl’s chronic pain cycle. He recommended Meta RX, and once we added it to Carl’s program in September, his improvement accelerated even more. His pain response continued to decrease, his movement became freer, and for the first time in years, it felt like the cycle had finally been broken.
Today, Carl is riding again. He is happy. He is willing. He is relaxed in his body and his mind. He even completed his first trail ride in four years something I once believed might never happen again.
What DePaolo Equine Concepts gave us was not just another supplement. They gave us answers, direction, and a way to support Carl’s body at the root level instead of endlessly managing symptoms.
I truly believe the Horse Hair Analysis was the missing piece the reason everything else could finally work.
If you have a horse that isn’t responding the way they should, I cannot recommend DePaolo Equine Concepts enough. Sometimes healing doesn’t start with doing more it starts with understanding more.
Carl taught me that. And DePaolo Equine Concepts helped me finally listen.

Patient “Roy”
Symptoms: Respiratory Issues and inability to exercise – this horse has been diagnosed with Heaves, a respiratory condition much like Asthma in humans.
Treatment Plan: 10 ml of Ozactin Nebulized daily
Owner Reported Results: Breath sounds and breaths per minute have improved. Roy has returned to some weekly exercise and is much more willing to do so, with far less strained breathing.
From the doctors…

Dr. Mark DePaolo, DVM
“We are seeing great results across a large number of different equine illnesses. We are witnessing relief for previously untreatable respiratory issues, like COPD improvement, as well the disappearance of equine Sarcoids and improvements in pain levels for to numerous lameness issues.”

Dr. John D’Amanda Dr. DC, NMD, ACP, FAAO
“In treating many of our human patients they often relay messages, like, ‘You gave me my hope back … I haven’t felt this good in years.”
Patient “Stella”
When I brought Stella home from the university, I was finally able to begin targeted homeopathic therapies, including DePaolo Equine Concepts and Horse Hair Analysis injectable Ozactin. Ozactin is an ozonated glycerine made with DMSO to enhance cellular penetration and support the body’s inflammatory response.
Since starting Ozactin, I have seen noticeable progress in Stella’s recovery. It has been a key part of her treatment plan and one of the therapies that truly helped her make leaps and bounds forward. I’m incredibly grateful for the results we’ve seen and for having this option available during her healing process.
Sharin Hall
Barrel Racer
Patient “Missy”
Symptoms
Metabolic Syndrome (Cushing’s Syndrome) followed by Laminitis, Hock Arthritis.
Treatment Plan
Ozactin IV Treatment every 2 weeks.
Owner Reported Results
Soreness has improved as seen in the above before and after videos.
Real Results. Meaningful Change.
We are honored to share this client experience, which reflects the purpose behind Ozactin and the impact it can have on quality of life.
After years of unexplained lameness, unsuccessful supplements, medications that caused digestive distress, and ultimately prednisone as a last option, this senior dog’s comfort and mobility continued to decline. With time feeling limited and few remaining options, Ozactin was introduced as part of her care plan.
The response was both rapid and meaningful. Following the first injection, her family noted clear improvements in mobility and comfort. She was able to discontinue prednisone, no longer required assistance to stand, and returned to enjoying normal daily activities. Simple moments like running in the field, barking at deer, and engaging with her surroundings again became possible.
In the weeks that followed, transitioning to daily oral Meta RX with Ozactin provided continued stability without the fluctuations they had previously experienced. The result was consistent comfort, improved movement, and a visibly happier dog.
Ozactin was developed to support the body without harsh side effects, restore comfort, and help preserve quality of life. Stories like this reflect what matters most to us: helping families enjoy more meaningful, comfortable days with the animals they love.
“I know our time is still limited. But we have our sweet girl back, and we cherish every day that Dr. Mark has given us.”
We are deeply grateful to this family for trusting Ozactin and for sharing their journey.
Sometimes it is not about adding time to life, but adding life to time.

Patient “Charm”
I have had several people ask what I did for Charm that helped improve her symptoms, and I want to share our experience in case it helps someone else.
After competing at the WPRA Finals, Charm unfortunately developed EHM, Equine Herpes Myeloencephalopathy. We immediately began working closely with our veterinarian on an aggressive treatment plan. Her initial symptoms included stocked up legs, increased teeth grinding, toe dragging, urine dribbling, and by day three she began to sway and walk sideways. She never ran a fever at any point.
By Thursday, 11/20, Charm was still showing obvious neurological symptoms, especially toe dragging and lack of coordination in her hind end. That evening, she received a 60cc dose of Ozactin.
Ozactin was the clear turning point for her.
By Friday morning, the change was dramatic. She was lifting her hind legs normally, there was no toe dragging, and she was no longer drifting sideways when she walked. That evening, I took videos of her moving in a coordinated, balanced way and looking much more like herself.
Her treatment plan included a DMSO drip, EqStim, Banamine, Valacyclovir, Ivermectin, supplements, and supportive care. However, the rapid neurological improvement did not occur until after the Ozactin was administered. Since then, she has stopped showing neurological symptoms and is walking much more steadily.
I am incredibly thankful for how quickly she responded to Ozactin and for the progress she has made. I truly hope sharing this helps anyone dealing with similar neurological symptoms in their horse.

Bert’s Story: From Injury to World Champion
In March of 2024, Bert’s future became uncertain when he kicked through a wall and suffered a serious injury, breaking his hock in two places. After months of worry, veterinary visits, and careful planning, we completed an IRAP procedure during the winter of 2024. Although the treatment brought some improvement, Bert still wasn’t moving the way we knew he could. Something was missing.
That’s when we began a trial of Ozactin.
Within the first week, the difference was unmistakable. Bert grew more comfortable, more fluid in his movement, and more confident. For the first time since his injury, he felt like himself again.
Bert has stayed on Ozactin through intensive training, show preparation, and competition all the way to the 2024 World Show. Not only did he recover he excelled. His comeback story turned into a winning streak, earning multiple prestigious titles across the Pinto World Show, Appaloosa Nationals, and the Appaloosa World Show.
